What happens if I exceed the contact limit on Pro?
We notify you when you hit 80% and 95% of your tier limit. At 100% your existing contacts keep working, but new ones stop importing until you upgrade or trim the list. No surprise overage bills — ever.
Can I bring my own OpenAI / Anthropic / Ollama key?
Yes — on Pro and Self-hosted. Plug in your key in settings; AI Copilot routes requests through your account, charges your bill directly, and the included quota stops decrementing. Useful if you've already got an enterprise OpenAI contract.
Is the Self-hosted edition the same product as the cloud one?
Same codebase, same features, same export format. The only thing the cloud edition has extra is: we run the server. Self-hosted ships as a Laravel 12 app — `composer install`, point at a DB, run migrations, done.
Can I move from cloud to self-hosted later?
Yes. Export your data as JSON (built-in), spin up the self-hosted edition, import. We'll help you migrate — it's a one-evening task for an engineer who knows Laravel.
What's "lifetime updates" — is that really forever?
For the Self-hosted edition, yes. You buy the license once, get every minor and major update through GitHub access. We've shipped Acelle since 2016 with the same model — it works.
Do you offer agency / white-label licensing?
Yes, the Self-hosted edition includes white-label resale rights. Sell AuriusCRM to your clients under your brand, host on your infrastructure, charge what you want. We just ask you don't compete with our managed cloud — see the licence terms.
Refund policy?
30 days, no questions, full refund on Self-hosted. Pro is month-to-month so just cancel — we'll refund the unused portion of the current cycle if you ask. Free is free, nothing to refund.
Is there a startup / non-profit discount?
Yes — 50% off Pro for the first 12 months for YC / Techstars / accredited accelerator companies, and free Pro for registered non-profits. Email us with proof and we'll set it up.
